Marketing Specialist

At the University of Pittsburgh, I develop and oversee execution of marketing distribution plans, manage all aspects of each social media account, and execute web development tasks.

Distribution of marketing campaigns may include any combination of social media, email marketing, digital signage, text messages, and more.

Each week, I oversee the creation and execution of four email campaigns that are sent to about 26,000 students. Other email communications are created as needed.

I manage a team of Writing and Communications interns by assigning tasks, leading weekly writers' meetings, and teaching the students about writing, communications, and best practices.

Clarion River Brewing Company

Social Media Strategist/Photographer

At Clarion River Brewing Company, I created and oversaw implementation of social media strategy, consumer profiles, outreach initiatives, and evaluative measures. I lead photography and videography projects to enhance marketing strategy and brand awareness through the company Facebook and Instagram pages.

Clarion University of Pennsylvania

Social Media Intern

I was responsible for daily maintenance, planning, and execution of Clarion University’s social media channels including FacebookInstagram, and Twitter.

In addition, I was responsible for preproduction and planning of future video and photo projects that would be seen on multiple social media channels.

Eagle Media Productions

Director of Video and Production Services

Eagle Media Productions is a student-run media organization that offers TV, radio, and promotions. I was a member of this organization for four years. During my sophomore, junior, and senior years, I was a key member of the executive board.

As the Director of Video and Production Services, I was responsible for 14 student workers. This included scheduling, delegating work, and overseeing projects that they are working on. I served as the main contact for all video production services: scheduling, preproduction, postproduction and management of projects.

Consultant

I was contracted by JVCKENWOOD to work in their booth at NAB 2018.

A colleague and I were chosen to represent the 4K line of cameras as end users of the products. We promoted and answered questions from attendees about the GY-HM250GY-HM180, and the GY-LS300.

Media Planning/Buying Intern

As the media planning/buying intern, I was responsible for fulfilling media requests, point-of-view requests, and insertion orders. I was in contact with newspaper and magazine vendors on a daily basis and used the STRATA media buying system to confirm insertions, costs, and specific information for the order.

In addition, I assisted team members by completing buy recap reports that were sent to the clients to present the list of TV and radio spots that were bought and all other important information.

The Brandtern Program gave me the opportunity to work on a team with my peers to create an advertising campaign for the program that Gatesman offers. I was responsible for media research, audience analysis, and execution planning.
